What do the supporting documents that I have to submit from abroad look like?

Are you applying for a BIG (re)registration and do you have foreign work experience or are you applying for recognition of your foreign diploma? Then you must submit a number of supporting documents with your application. To help you submit documents that meet the requirements, we have placed some examples with explanations below.

A CCPS (Certificate of Current Professional Status) must contain the following information: full name, date of birth, date of diploma and date of registration in the register of jurisdiction of your profession in the country it concerns with your registration number. Furthermore, this document must show that there are no restrictions on jurisdiction and that the profession may be carried out independently. In addition, the document contains a stamp and initials of the competent authority of the country. A CGC (Certificate of Good Conduct) must contain the following information: full name, date of birth and place of birth. Furthermore, this document must show that there are no criminal convictions. In addition, the document contains a stamp and initials of the competent authority of the country it concerns. In the Netherlands, a CGC (extract from the criminal record) must contain the following information: full name, date of birth, place of birth, nationality and place of residence. Furthermore, this document must show that there are no criminal convictions. In addition, the document contains an electronic hallmark to verify the authenticity of the statement. The Certificate of Conformity must contain the following information: full name, date of birth, place of birth and date of diploma. In addition, this document must show that:

  • the training is in accordance with the EU minimum training requirements and,
  • the formal qualification can be equated with a formal qualification stated in the list of designated diplomas
