Training requirement for dentists

If you do not meet the work experience requirements, you may be able to register by obtaining a Periodic Registration Certificate (PRC) through a training programme. This is an established training path in the core skills of your profession.

Please always contact us first to find out if this is possible for you.

The Periodic Registration Certificate (PRC)

Do you have insufficient work experience as a dentist? Then you can follow training at ACTA. If you successfully complete the training, you will receive a Periodic Registration Certificate (PRC). A recently obtained Periodic Registration Certificate (PRC) is considered to be proof of training.  The PRC may be no more than 2 years old at the time of registration.

Start in time

Training can in some cases last more than 6 months. Ensure that you meet the requirements before the deadline for registration. The training courses and tests are developed by training institutes that provide the original training. Current information on training can be found on the websites of the training institutes.
